Life's Ups and Downs...

Sharing a couple things as there's nothing like crafting that helps me deal with life's "ups & downs."
The card above is one of those we card makers don't really want to make, but gives us a chance to support those loved ones in need.  The colors seem so soothing to me, I hope the recipients think they are as well...

And for something completely different...

BIRTHDAY thoughts this week.  It's a milestone birthday for me on Wednesday.  Funny, I decided to make myself a card!  SILLY, I know... however, turns out my husband will use it for me!  Hee hee hee...

Spring Theme Cards

For my friends who may be looking for some ready made cards to send to their friends or family, here are two styles I'd be happy to make for you.  You can choose a sentiment of your choice...

Tulip Basket card shown above using Flower For All Seasons stamp set.  Colors used are mellow moss, blushing bride and barely banana.

I enjoy spring weather so much, there's not as much time to craft indoors,
but a rainy spring day makes a good excuse to make a few cards.

Butterflies card shown above using Fine Flourish stamp and Beautiful Wings embosslit die from Stampin' Up!  Colors are lovely lilac, regal rose & so saffron.

If you need a Mother's Day card, then just let me know that which style of these cards you may like (Tulip Basket or Butterflies) and I can send one with the Mother's Day sentiment shown.
Mother's Day is early this year - May 8th, so let me know right away!

Happy Easter everyone! Have a great day.

Simple Easter Card...

Okay, so I'm scrambling a little to get Easter cards done...It may be a couple weeks+ away yet but you may have noticed in earlier posts I'm trying to stay ahead of occasions this year!
I love this little bunny image from Forest Friends so it makes a great, quick Easter theme card.  The sentiment for a Happy Easter stays on the inside of the card for this one, so all the focus can be on the cute little bunny and added flower.  Hope you have fun this year making Easter cards too!  Stay tuned, I'll probably have some Easter baskets to share as well.

I'm staying busy as the NEXT big occasion for me will be making invitations for my husband's grandmother's 90th birthday party.  I was thrilled to be asked to make some invitations for her.  It'll be so fun to do something for someone I love & who I know likes my cards, too!  :)
