Sometimes, it's all about Presentation...

Good Sunday everyone!
I wanted to share something for all my Stampin' Up! demo friends today.
This week I had an order arrive that included a set of 12 finger tip sponge daubers.  I have to admit, while I love these little tools, the package they came in, well, let's just say it just wasn't going to cut it for me to present to someone.  So I came up with a much better presentation box.

Here is the "before" image of the little bag of sponges:

The little plastic bag of 12 sponges, while functional, looks just too "messy" for me.  Fortunately, as many of you crafters know, that presentation problem can be easily solved by making a little box.  The base of my box is made of cardstock and the top is made of a clear window sheet.  Some simple "how to" tips on making this box are listed below... (it's really very simple!).

Here's what you need to make a similar 3x3 inch clear lid box:

5" x 5" square cardstock, scored at 1" on all sides, fold, snip tabs, & adhere tabs to create a box base
3" x 7" cardstock, scored at 1" increments, accordion fold to create 2 center dividers, adhere to base
5" x 5" window sheet, scored at 1" on all sides, fold, snip tabs, & shape unadhered as a lid
(I did adhere one side of my clear lid to the inside edge of the box, then added ribbon to the opposite side to show the person how to open the lid)

1" x 11" patterned paper for the paper band, fold paper around finished box.
Do not ahere paper band to box.  It is used to slide on/off.
Embellishments of your choice

I didn't want to bog this post down with the images of each step, as I think most of you experienced crafters will understand as soon as you start the assembly of the basic box pieces.  If you are reading this post & would like me to post more detailed photos, just let me know by leaving a comment.

Here's the view of the completed box:

Now, doesn't that look prettier?  I thought so.
I used some retired cardstock & paper, but my Calypso Coral stamped image is a flower stamp from the new SU! set "Papaya Collage", the sentiment from "Teeny Tiny Wishes" and little butterfly (sponged a bit of course!) is from the Sizzlet "Beautiful Wings."

Happy crafting everyone.  Have a great week!
