Ugly Sweater Season

Sharing a fun card I made using some of My Favorite Things stamps.
Love making dog-theme cards for a friend of mine and I was inspired when she told me she had been shopping for an ugly sweater for her dog.  This just came together so easily.

I hand cut a little sweater from a retired (I think) Hand Knit stamp set from Stampin' Up! It fit the little dog in the MFT set so well.

Hope everyone is having a fun, crafty season.
Merry Christmas, everyone.

Tis the Season...for Star Wars gifts!

Long time, no post, but had to share my latest Christmas craft for this holiday.
My brother gave me some terrific candy molds for my birthday.  I used my Marvel Comics and Dr. Who theme molds earlier this year, but my Star Wars molds had been neglected, until now!

Since the latest Star Wars movie is set to open this week, my husband specifically requested I make some candy for his friends for Christmas using my molds.  The detail on the Millenium Falcon turned out great in white chocolate... check it out:

I used my variety of molds to create a little 6-piece gift set.  I decorated a few of them for some more detail.  Not perfect, but I really enjoyed decorating these.  Tempering dark chocolate was a challenge, but thanks to the internet and some quality Guittard melting wafers, these turned out better than I had hoped.

May the force be with you this Christmas!
Happy Holiday Crafting everyone!
